World’s Easiest Missions Trip…If You Attend Church in the USA Read This!

August 3, 2010 by Gilbert Leave a Comment

Ok missions trips aren’t necessarily supposed to be easy but they are supposed to be productive and fruitful.  Unfortunately I’ve heard of far too many trips where people spent thousands of dollars to go and it ended up being little more than Christian tourism?  Oh sure they did a little bit of work, but in the end they’re not sure their work really accomplished anything.

Want to go somewhere that you will be guaranteed to make a difference?

Then read on for your chance to go into the deep, dark, jungles of…Harrisburg, PA.  Ok, honestly we have no jungles here, but we do have over 425,000 people in our metro area that don’t yet know Jesus.  For many of you this will be an economical way to go on a short-term missions trip without breaking the bank and know that what you did made a difference for all of eternity!

So what will you be doing?  This fall we are starting ExponentialChurch.tv, a church for people who don’t like church.  In addition to excellent weekend Experiences, we also want to BE the church Monday through Saturday out in the community.  This summer and fall we have a wide variety of events  that you, your small group, Sunday School Class, church board, missions team or even entire church could come partner with us.  We have projects you could be involved in that range from 1 evening, 1 full-day, 2 full days, 5 days and even up to a week.  For those coming 5 or more days we’ll be sure to let you experience some of what Harrisburg has to offer during your time here.  For all coming we will provide you and your team training on-site in the area(s) that you’ll be helping.

To follow are some dates that we are especially looking for help but again all dates can be arranged for your team.  Also remember you can help for as little as 1 night of this all the way up to 1 week:

  • August 10-11 (Tues-Wed)
  • August 13 (Fri)
  • August 16-18 (Mon-Wed)
  • August 20 (Fri)
  • August 30-September 1 (Mon-Wed)
  • September 3 (Fri)
  • September 12 (Sun)
  • September 26 (Sun)
  • September 27-29 (Mon-Wed)
  • October 2 (Sat)
  • October 4-10 (Mon-Sun)
  • October 11-17 (Mon-Sun)

More dates will be added during the middle of September so let us know if these dates work better.  For more information or to register for a date(s), please contact either Gilbert or Chad.  Thanks in advance…you can make a difference!
