Big Announcement #2

Wow God is just bringing one good thing after another.  Last night our council approved hiring a Pastor of Creative Arts!

This person will oversee the worship and creative elements of all 3 of our services/Experiences.  This is going to greatly improve the quality of our sanctuary services and it will take United to a whole new level.  This person will train and equip all of our technical volunteers (sound, projection, lighting), create videos for all aspects of the church and oversee the worship teams.  Ultimately our hope is that in the same way Scott provides leadership for the worship in the sanctuary, this person will be able to do the same for United as well. 

Now here’s the only hold up.  According to our church by-laws, any new staff position must be approved by the membership of the church.  So on June 8th at 11:45am there will be a brief meeting in the sanctuary to explain the position in more detail, answer any questions about it and then take a vote.

It is very important if you are a member of the church that you vote.  The church has great momentum going right now and this is a critical next step that God has shown us for continuing to make an IMPACT here in this region.
