Great Experience today…5 more people born into the Kingdom!
The morning started out with Kim Mills (our Senior Pastor’s wife) informing me that Earl and the rest of the team that were in Haiti this past week had missed their connecting flight home and were stuck in Miami.
A little while later Kim came to me in a panic…she had locked the keys in the church van.
After finding the spare set, we weren’t able to get the doors unlocked because there has been a problem all week with the doors sticking.
After about 20 minutes of trying and Kim getting more and more panicky, the back door finally opened…I climbed over the seats, hit the unlock and Kim was on her way.
The rest of the morning went pretty smoothly.
For once we actually didn’t have enough haze…we’re getting close though to getting it figured out.
Andy was excited because he got a tablet PC this week and so he was able to walk around during the Experience but yet still control our digital sound board.
He’s such a geek! :)
Thought the music was good and the participation was strong. Yea team, yea you and yea God!
I really enjoyed delivering today’s message and obviously the response was strong.
I forgot to mention that this marked 2 times in the last 3 weeks I’ve used our trip to Vegas as a sermon illustration…I guess what happens in Vegas doesn’t stay in Vegas.
Tonight is CAYA…I like hanging out with the 18-29 crowd.
Tomorrow I’ll give you a recap of some other weekend thoughts and activities.
